Antep Kabab Reviews
Update : The restaurent renovated recently, and they accept payments by debit card (POS) as well as cash. They have an ATM inside the resto where you cash money with a 1 fee. No credit card accepted though! —————- : Very delicious meat(kebab) and chicken sandwiches. They make the bread themselves. : You can take a sandwich (Antep: ground beef kebab, chicken, fillet mignon, or lamb), which has the homemade bread, a spicy sauce to your favorite (they ask if you want spicy or not, or even extra spicy), lettuce, and cucumber . Sandwiches are very tasty and juicy. I usually order by calling, and it’s ready for take out in 20-25 minutes. : The Restaurant has the capacity of 30-40 people max, and usually is crowded because of the high demand. So I prefer the takeout. But you can order dishes and eat there as well (or sandwiches). The dish comes with half of the homemade bread, bulgur (like rice, but different), salad and the meat. : Drinks: they don’t have alcoholic beverages. But they have juice, water, soda, and yogurt drink. : there is a street parking which is very limited. So it’s usually the best that one person stays in the car, and the other goes on,and takes their order. If not, you can go around the bloc and find a parking.
Tucked away in a quiet corner, this little Turkish eatery is a true hidden gem. My husband and I stumbled upon it by chance since all the Korean restaurants we wanted to try tonight were either closed or super packed. We were immediately drawn in by the smell of freshly grilled kebabs and the lively buzz from a packed dining area. Despite its modest appearance, this place serves up some of the most flavorful and hearty Turkish dishes I've ever had! Their kebab sandwich was simply exceptional—juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked with a delightful char! Ugh! So gooooddd!!! Each bite is loaded with flavor, and the portions are generous, giving you real value for the price. I guess it's a bonus too that their breads are made in-house! The plate combos are also incredibly satisfying, with tender filet mignon meat - nothing crazy about its seasoning though, the bulgur and vibrant salads that are as tasty as they are filling, still hit the jackpot for us! The prices are surprisingly affordable for such high-quality food making it easy to understand why this spot is always bustling with locals and those lucky enough to discover it! If you’re looking for an authentic, no-fuss Turkish dining experience that won’t break the bank, this is the place to go. Just be prepared to wait a little, as it’s no secret among the locals! PS: They accept CASH ONLY (there's an ATM inside though). Still not a deal-breaker for us. Everyone's friendly here. Made us feel like we are in a Turkish friend's home! We would definitely be back (even if we are coming from the West Island of Mtl) if we need some Turkish comfort food fix! 100/100 Highly recommend!!!
The food was excellent — tasty, healthy, and made with care. They bake their bread fresh. The prices are very reasonable. The staff were very friendly Highly recommended!
After 5 years, I went again to this place and it is still as good as it has always been. Meats cooked to perfection (got the lamb and the kebab), spicy and delicious bulgur, and fresh bread (made to order). It would be great if they start using cards since the prices have been going up. Otherwise, one of the greatest places in Montreal.
The food was delicious, I took the chicken sandwich and it wasn’t too expensive. The wait time wasn’t too long and the staff was really kind. This chicken was genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had, amazingly cooked, I loved it. They only take cash though, so don’t forget to bring some. The seating is comfortable and the place is nice and not noisy or anything. Best kebab I’ve had in Montreal by far.
We live two hours away, and every time we’re in Montreal, we have to stop by—whether it’s for lunch or dinner, we always grab takeout before heading home. This spot has truly become a tradition for my family. I’ve tried everything on the menu, and not once have I been disappointed. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and consistently delicious. Honestly, this place has become a staple in Montreal for us. We crave it for weeks afterward. there was even a time we drove all the way to the city just to get takeout! Huge thanks to the owner and the entire staff for always making it such a great experience for me and my family.
Great food! Meaty sandwiches in a pita pocket. Open kitchen concept in a tiny place. Clean where you can see your sandwich being made. Cash only. Don't let the three start ambiance rating fool you. You are not there for the dining experience. It's fast food. The place is clean and well maintained
One of the best meals we had in our last visit. The place doesn't look amazing from the outside but the food is really great. I loved the sauce that the give with the meat platters. The kebab was definitely our favorite.
